Lackmann's Got Some Great Surprises Headed our Way

Like previous semesters, Lackmann is truly working for the students. We have seen a sushi bar, pizza freshly made, a variety of grocery items, grab-and-go, and more; all of which have turned out to be amazing hits as the response from students were positive. Well, this semester Lackmann will be presenting the students with more of their ideas.
Students should look forward to a crepe station that will be available for breakfast and dinner. Before this arrives, Lackmann's corporate chef must first train all employees in making crepes to ensure that students are receiving the top quality crepes regardless of who is preparing them.
Even though the crepe station will cause the pasta station to be available less often, it may offer more variety. Manager Marianne Walker assures that students will like and enjoy this change.
There is also a new chef in town. The new chef Julie is excited to be here and wants a chance to meet the students. To show this, there are plans for Julie to get involved in a chef station.
This is similar to what most students are familiar with, when cooks create a delicious hot meal in front of you, except this time it will be the chef's turn.
Valentine's Day has brought other concepts to the Lackmann team as well. On Feb. 14, Lackmann will be providing students with an upscale dinner in Gottesman. The dinner will be presented in buffet style. Students who are not able to go far for their Valentine's Day dinner or who do not have any plans can pay in advance and enjoy a meal provided by Lackmann.
Tickets can be purchased for one person if an individual chooses to go alone or for a group of friends who want to simply hang out and eat. The plans are in the process of being finalized, so look out for flyers with more information and the menu.
On Feb. 20, expect to hear music played by a disc jockey. Lackmann has hired a DJ to provide the students with entertainment, so instead of looking at the cafeteria as just a place to eat, students can now be entertained by the upbeat music. Hopefully this will relax students and help them take their minds off any stress.
In addition, there are plans for giveaways. Lackmann is currently working with General Mills (GM) to receive some of their products that can be given away.
Furthermore, vendors will be present more often. Recently, organic vendors were here with their food, provided taste tests. Expect to see various amounts of chicken tastings and other foods in the near future.
These changes will work the best if suggestions are given to Lackmann. Lackmann would love to know how well they are serving the student population. Walker encourages students to email her at mwalker@lackmann.com. Let Lackmann know how much these changes are loved or how they can be improved.
