Jonathan Quartuccio - Michael you are a junior, correct?
Michael Pernesiglio - Yeah that's right.
JQ - Then why on your facebook profile does it say that you are an alumni that graduated from Pace in the year 2006? Do you think it is funny to just make up things and lie to the good people at this University?
MP - No, I mean I don't know. I have been trying to fix that for a while now. I think that when I first made my profile I thought that part was for what year you first went to Pace. If you scroll down and look in my education you will see that I graduate in 2009.
JQ - OK, maybe I will accept that. But you are on thin ice buddy. You better shape up or ship out. You are known around these parts simply as Pern. That wouldn't have anything to do with your last name would it?
MP - Of course it would. My last name is not that easy to say.
JQ - What is your favorite plant?
MP - I cannot say because then Coach Carty will throw me off the team.
JQ - Certain things annoy me in life, like how Starbucks coffee sizes are tall, grande, and venti. They all sound like they would be the same size, well except for venti. I couldn't even tell you what venti means. Whatever happened to small, medium, large? Doesn't that make more sense? Venti…Anyway, what annoys you in life?
MP - A lot of things annoy me. People that cannot be punctual with time and cleanliness are two big ones.
JQ - In your opinion, where is the lacrosse team today, and where are you guys heading?
MP - Today we are a pretty solid team. But we have the skills and talent to be a championship team.
JQ - What percentage of fifth graders do you think you are smarter than?
MP - I'd say about 25 percent. That show is tough.
JQ - If you were not already going to such a fine institution such as Pace, what three schools would you love to attend?
MP - The University of Hawaii, the University of Florence, and the University of Miami.
JQ - Let's say you have a Verizon phone. Wouldn't you think you would be a little freaked out when you saw those thousands of people they say is your network, plus the Verizon spokesman hovering around wherever you went?
MP - Oh yeah, definitely. I would be very scared. They are pretty creepy. I guess everyone is tight with each other. I just don't have that many friends.
JQ - Well how many friends do you have then?
MP - Just the lacrosse team.
JQ - When was the last time you cried and for what reason?
MP - When I attempted to lift ten pound weights in the gym last week and I was unsuccessful.
JQ - Give me three celebrities dead or alive that you would want to have dinner with?
MP - Mario Lemieux, Johnny Depp, and Nicholas Cage.
JQ - What is the most difficult thing about lacrosse?
MP - Staying in shape, catching the ball, and throwing the ball.
JQ - So pretty much everything. OK, name me three things you would change about Pace University?
MP - The housing situation, the cafeteria, and the swipe card.
JQ - What three things do you like about Pace University?
MP - I like that it is close to home, the colors of the team's jerseys, and the guys on the lacrosse team.
JQ - Have you ever been in an argument with someone where you were both on completely different sides and you tried to pull the old switcheroo on him/her to get him/her to say what you were saying. You know in Merrie Melodies cartoons when Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck argue about what season it is, Duck season, Wabbit season, Duck Season… Bugs gets Daffy to say Duck season. Have you ever done that?
MP - Every time I do that, it always back fires and I end up saying what the other person wants me to say.
JQ - Where do you think Alex Rodriguez is going, and what kind of contract do you think he'll get?
MP - I hope he stays, but he'll probably be with the Angels at 30 million a year.
JQ - Does anyone piss you off more than Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and their evil team?
MP - Yeah, Dave Carty.
JQ - Sports Illustrated has a feature they put in every week about who is Hot right now and who is not. At Pace, what three people are hot, and what three are not?
MP - Jim Gregory, Rich Sparks, and Tim Matheis are hot right now. Steve Moriarty, Anthony Seiter, and Ryan Gregory are not.
JQ - Name something that you have never done before that is not so glamorous, almost like an every day activity. For instance, I have never shredded a piece of paper before. I don't even think I ever had the opportunity to do so. I mean I have been around paper shredders all the time; I just never actually did it. What is something like that that you never have done before?
MP - A shower.
JQ - If you did not have to worry about money, what one job would you love to do for the rest of your life?
MP - Gym teacher. It is the easiest job in the world. If I ever won the lottery that would be the first thing I'd do.
JQ - That is kind of weird that getting in sweats and playing dodgeball with little kids would be the first thing you would do if you won the lottery, but to each his own I guess. Pern this has been a pretty good interview. Pretty good. I'll see you later.
