"Rehab called, it's time to go."

Amy Winehouse has certainly caused her fair share of trouble. Is it possible for her to escape the irony of making a song about refusing to go to Rehab, but ending up there months later?

This English soul, jazz, and rhythm singer first debuted with her album Frank in 2003, but her most noted song came in May 2007 entitled 'Rehab.'

She has won the Mercury Prize, the Ivor Novello Award, won Best British Artist, and was nominated for best album.

But the press she is getting these days has nothing to do with her musical success. Drug problems, alcoholism, bulimia, and domestic abuse have all been surrounding her name, and it just seems to be getting worse.

One might say it started on May 18, when she married Blake Fielder Civil. The ceremony was both unannounced and very sudden.

Four months after, everyone had begun speculating her drunken television appearances, canceled concerts, and all the cuts, scars, and bruises on her arms.

Alcohol and drugs seemed to have been her downfall because she was admitted to the University College Hospital in London for an over-dose related coma.

Reports had shown that she had taken several drugs, and her life was indeed "hanging by a thread." She was quoted in saying "It was one of the most terrifying moments of my life. I don't know what got into me."

Later that month, she and her husband were taken in handcuffs and forced to go to Rehab centers for their cocaine and heroin addictions. To the dismay of her parents and record label, instead of staying for the 6-8 week treatment, she opted to leave after only five days.

She had canceled numerous tour dates and shows to take care of her health issues.

Her bulimia problems have also been something that she has been receiving a lot of attention for. Her best friend, Pete Doherty, made a public statement saying, "She looks like a skeleton, I'm scared for her." She was found at a hotel throwing up blood in the bathroom, but when the managers wanted to call for help, she refused.

Both her and her husband's parents are at the end of their ropes. They are making public appearances and doing everything they can to try and get their children's lives back under control.

Winehouse's in laws believe that her music should be boycotted, while her own parents say that is not the answer.

In light of all this bad publicity, Winehouse was dropped from her record label. She lost her opportunity to record the theme song for the new James Bond film. They said they couldn't give her anymore chances.

At this point, it has been rumored that she is trying to become pregnant. Even though neighbors are constantly calling the police over domestic abuse, they believe a baby will put all their troubles behind them.

Winehouse was also named #2 on Maxim's most un-sexiest women alive. She has had quite the year, and there doesn't seem to be much light in her future.
