Flavor Flav has a lot of time on his hands, or should we say his neck? The good people at VH1 have decided that Flavor Flav needs one more shot to find himself a mate.

Flavor of Love is not only the highest rated show that VH1 has ever aired, it has also become the most watched reality program ever.

Flavor of Love, starring hype man Flavor Flav himself from the legendary rap group Public Enemy, has failed in his attempts to find a soul mate in the past two seasons. During the show, he winnows down from a variety of ladies that are fighting tooth and nail to get his affection.

In the first season we met 20 different females from all over the country hoping to win Flavor Flav's heart. He put them through numerous tests and challenges to try and find the one who wanted him the most.

Meeting some colorful characters along the way is an understatement. Can we ever hear the word pumpkin again without being reminded of the infamous spitting incident? Does the phrase "It's time to get buck wild!" still not strike fear in our hearts?

The first time around, the two remaining contestants were two woman given the nicknames New York and Hoopz. Flav was convinced that Hoopz was his soul mate, so he abandoned New York, who was clearly head over heels in love. She of course caused a dramatic exit, and was heartbroken that he did not choose her.

Hoopz and Flav ended up breaking up less than a month later, claiming that "It was just not like that." This gave VH1 the opportunity to recreate the magic and give him a second season.

There, we met 20 new girls all ready and eager to climb their ways to the number one spot.

The second season gave us a surprise along the way when Flav called the infamous New York to help make his decisions about the new girls. New York caused quite a commotion in the house with her extreme personality, and automatically put in her two cents about who was good enough for Flav.

Flav pulled a fast one and surprised everyone by asking New York to rejoin the contestants for another shot at his love. He did this in the form of handing her a clock from an old dusty box. We were finally left with Flav and new girl Delicious. In the end, Flav bet against New York again, and she left heartbroken for a second time, flashing him her back side on the way out.

Shockingly, Flav and Delicious didn't last either; breaking up soon after because of differences in life styles.

VH1 then decided that New York needed her chance to find happiness, so they created the show "I Love New York." Similar to Flavor of Love, New York had the opportunity to pick from twenty male hopefuls who were supposedly big fans of hers.

The show played out with New York winding down her choices based on the way they kissed, and how honest and true she felt they were about her. Here we met Mr. Boston, Real, Tango, and Chance. Tango and Chance were the lucky ones reaching the top two positions.

She picked Tango in the end, and the season ended with a marriage proposal and unexpected events to come. On the reunion show, Tango publicly dumped New York for comparing his mother to a "brick wall" behind his back.

A tearful New York and a bewildered Flav, all dumped numerous times each. Although they have made it clear a relationship between them isn't going to happen, that doesn't mean they are giving up on the search for love.
